Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Studies

Basic Information about the Program

The study program aims to equip students with foundational knowledge for teaching Serbian language and literature in primary and secondary schools, including vocational schools and gymnasiums. It prepares them for careers as Serbian language and literature teachers and for roles in linguistics and educational instruction fields.

Degree and Employment Opportunities

Upon completing their studies, graduates can work as teachers and professors of Serbian language and literature in state and private educational institutions, including primary and secondary schools. They can also teach Serbian as a foreign language, take on roles in cultural institutions (libraries, cultural centers, publishing), and work in public information (print and electronic media). Additionally, they can serve as editors and proofreaders in media and publishing houses, as well as cultural institutions.

Upon completing this program, students earn the title of Bachelor of Philology (Serbist).

Duration of Studies

The undergraduate academic studies in Serbian Language Literature span four academic years (eight semesters), with a total of 240 ECTS credits.

Tuition Fees

The annual tuition fee for this programme is €1,300, payable in eight monthly installments.

The fee is charged in Serbian dinars based on the exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia on the payment date.
