Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Studies
Basic Information about the Program
The study program German Language and Literature focuses on educating students in this field. It provides theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for teaching German (after completing master’s studies), working as German translators, and engaging in cultural institutions (libraries, cultural centers, publishing), media (print and electronic), and other industries. Graduates are prepared for further education through master’s and doctoral studies, as well as professional specialization in German language, literature, culture, methodology, and didactics of teaching German.
Degree and Employment Opportunities
Upon completing their studies, graduates can work as teachers and professors of Serbian After completing this study program, graduates can work as German language and literature teachers in public and private educational institutions (elementary and secondary schools). They can also pursue professions requiring a high level of German proficiency, such as roles in businesses (German/Austrian/Swiss companies), social organizations (embassies, consulates, NGOs, tourism agencies), and translation of various texts. Additionally, they may lead German language courses
Upon completing this program, students earn the title of Bachelor of Philology (Germanist).
Duration of Studies
The undergraduate academic studies in German Language Literature span four academic years (eight semesters), with a total of 240 ECTS credits.
Tuition Fees
The annual tuition fee for this programme is €1,300, payable in eight monthly installments.
The fee is charged in Serbian dinars based on the exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia on the payment date.
