Connecting Academia and Industry: University of Novi Pazar at International Events in Sarajevo

A delegation from the University of Novi Pazar actively participated in international events in Sarajevo, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening cooperation between the academic community and the business sector. The visit began on March 25, 2026, when Asst. Prof. Dr. Dženis Bajramović and Asst. Prof. Dr. Haris Zogić attended a conference dedicated to the fastest-growing companies and business leaders, where they had the opportunity to explore modern trends and successful business practices.

The central event was the “Building Bridges” gathering, organized on the occasion of the founding of the Balkan Academy of Management (BAM). The University of Novi Pazar was represented by a team consisting of: Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović, Prof. Dr. Enver Međedović, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haris Zogić, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dženis Bajramović, Prof. Dr. Ergin Hakić, and Prof. Dr. Enis Ujkanović.

During the panel discussion, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović, pointed out the challenges facing academia, emphasizing that its development is often slowed down by administrative and accreditation processes. Meanwhile, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dženis Bajramović highlighted the importance of a stronger connection between the university and the industry as a key factor for quality education and the practical application of knowledge.

The event was also marked by presentations from prominent representatives of the academic and business communities, who spoke about contemporary trends in education, innovation, and opportunities for international cooperation.

Participation in these gatherings represents an important step in further strengthening the international ties of the University of Novi Pazar and opening new opportunities for students, teachers, and researchers.
