The University of Novi Pazar has announced the holding of the first "May Encounters KUNP," a manifestation that will take place during May under the slogan "Knowledge meeting inspiration" and is envisioned as the central event within the "Month of Culture" in the city.

According to the University's announcement, the goal of the manifestation is to connect scientific, artistic, and cultural actors, and to establish a platform for dialogue and cooperation between the academic community and the general public. Partners in this project are: the "Dositej Obradović" City Library, the Cultural Center Novi Pazar, and the "Ras" Homeland Museum.

The program begins on May 7th with a formal opening and an exhibition of graphics by the artist Safet Zec at the University Gallery.

On the second day, May 8th, panel discussions dedicated to contemporary topics are planned, including digital transformations, issues of identity in literature, and changes in the media space, along with book promotions and the signing of memorandums of cooperation.

The central event on May 9th, observed as Europe Day, will be the awarding of prizes for the best scientific-research papers and literary achievements.

The manifestation will conclude on May 29th with the University May Art Salon (UMUS), which will be held at the Cultural Center Novi Pazar and will showcase the artistic creativity of the University.

The organizing team states that the intention is for "May Encounters KUNP" to grow into a permanent cultural manifestation that will contribute to the affirmation of the University as an important social and cultural actor.
