The KUNP program – Culture, Art, Science – has been officially opened at the University of Novi Pazar, bringing together prominent artists, professors, researchers, and representatives of the academic and cultural community.

The first day of the program was opened by the Rector of the University of Novi Pazar, Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović, who emphasized the importance of connecting science, culture, and art as a space for dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and social development.

The highlight of the evening was an encounter with academic painter and graphic artist Safet Zec, one of the most significant contemporary artists on the regional and European art scene. Speaking about his creative journey, artistic expression, and the role of art in modern society, Zec shared the experiences and reflections that have shaped his work over the decades.

As part of the evening program, an exhibition of Safet Zec’s prints was opened at the University Gallery, in the presence of the artist and numerous guests from cultural and public life.

The "May Encounters" manifestation continues in the coming days with panels, discussions, and content dedicated to culture, art, and science.
