University Day Celebrated at the University of Novi Pazar

Today, we proudly marked University Day – May 5 – remembering the vision of the late Mufti Muamer Zukorlić, founder of this higher education institution as a legacy of knowledge, dialogue, and progress.

In the presence of Mufti Dr. Mevlud ef. Dudić, Rector Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Muzafer Saračević, representatives of state institutions, the academic community, and numerous guests, doctoral diplomas were ceremoniously awarded.

A special moment was the awarding of diplomas to our PhD candidates – in the fields of computer science, economics, law, and pedagogy – who contributed to the advancement of scientific thought through their research and work.

A diploma for the title of full professor was also awarded, as well as prizes for the best scientific research papers, further affirming the scientific spirit we nurture.

"I invite you to innovate, not imitate, to be brave in your views and always conduct research with the general good of society and moral principles in mind. As doctors, the intellectual elite, it is your responsibility to continue working on solving contemporary challenges and to turn your solutions into monographs, scientific, and professional papers."
