As part of their professional internship and practical classes, students from the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Novi Pazar visited the Correctional Institution – District Prison in Novi Pazar. This visit was realized as part of the successful cooperation between the University and the judicial institutions of the Republic of Serbia.

The students and professors were hosted by the Director, Ms. Sabina Dolovac, who gave a lecture on the organization, work, and functioning of this institution. Through expert guidance, the students had the opportunity to directly familiarize themselves with security protocols, the daily operations of the prison, the process of rehabilitation of convicted persons, and the practical application of legal regulations.

This year, more than 60 students from both study programs of the Department successfully completed this form of professional and practical training, confirming the importance of linking theoretical knowledge with practical experience and further strengthening the professional competencies of future lawyers.
