On the occasion of February 21 – International Mother Language Day, the University of Novi Pazar hosted the promotion of the collection "Methodological Sparks II" (Metodičke iskre II), an award ceremony for the best authors, and a Roundtable titled "Contemporary Methodological Approaches in Mother Tongue and Literature Teaching: Theory and Practice."

The gathering was opened by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović, who emphasized the importance of preserving and nurturing one's mother tongue. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bihorac and Prof. Dr. Kimeta Hamidović discussed the competition, the collection, and the selection process for the awarded works.

The Roundtable consisted of two sessions involving 16 professors, teachers, and pedagogical advisors from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Hungary, and France. The primary goal was the exchange of experiences and examples of best practices in the field of language and literature teaching methodology.

The event was attended by members of the university leadership, faculty staff, and students, reaffirming a collective commitment to the advancement of education.
