Call for Applications: "Scientist-in-Residence" Program in Salzburg for 2027

We inform interested researchers that the City of Salzburg, Austria, has opened a call for the funded research residency program titled "Scientist-in-Residence."

Supported by the partner institution Mozarteum University Salzburg, this program is intended for young researchers across various disciplines who wish to collaborate with research institutions in Salzburg, develop new projects, and expand their professional networks.

Key Scholarship Information:

• Number of Scholarships: A total of 10 scholarships will be awarded.
• Duration of Stay: One month during the year 2027.

Application Requirements:

Candidates meeting the following criteria are eligible to participate:

• Academic Status: Early-career researchers, including PhD students or postdoctoral fellows employed at universities or scientific institutes outside of Austria. Alternatively, candidates who can demonstrate several years of research experience may also apply.
• Age Limit: Up to 45 years of age at the time of application.
• Residency: The candidate must have their primary residence outside of Austria, evidenced by a certificate of residence.
