Competition for the Best Lesson Methodological Plans

The University of Novi Pazar, in collaboration with the Department of Arts and Philological Sciences, announces a Competition for the Best Lesson Methodological Plans.

Eligible participants include subject teachers in philological and humanities fields employed in primary and secondary schools, as well as students.

The methodological plan should be presented using the Lesson Planning Form, available as an attachment to the competition announcement. (LESSON PLANNING FORM))

The plan can refer to a single lesson, block lessons, project-based, thematic, or team teaching, and other teaching models, including distance learning. Each participant may submit a maximum of two lesson plans.

Submissions must be sent exclusively via email to: umjetnost.filologija@uninp.edu.rs . Along with the lesson plan, participants must provide the following information: full name, the school or university where they are employed or studying, address, contact phone number, and email address.

The deadline for submissions is 15. June 2025..

Evaluation criteria will include:

  • originality and creativity of approach;
  • expertise (methodological foundation in the subject area);
  • completeness and coherence of the lesson plan;
  • innovativeness in lesson design and applied methodology;
  • encouragement of individual and group student work;
  • use of modern teaching aids;
  • fulfillment of educational standards.

The names of the award winners will be published on the University of Novi Pazar’s website on 25June, 2025.

All participants will receive certificates of participation. Selected lesson plans will be published in the collection "Methodical Sparks II," and the best plans will be awarded.
