Sumejja Hajrović, a student demonstrator at the Department of Economic and Computer Sciences of the University of Novi Pazar, won first place at the final debate of the 12th generation of the European School of Debate. The event took place on February 27, 2026, at the European House in Belgrade.
The University was further represented by student Ajtana Đerlek, with both participants demonstrating exceptional levels of knowledge, argumentation, and public speaking skills. Throughout the intensive program, the students refined their debating and critical thinking abilities. The final debate focused on the topic of socio-economic criteria within the Erasmus program.
This achievement is a significant recognition and further proof that the University of Novi Pazar educates talented, socially engaged young individuals ready to take on European initiatives.
