University of Novi Pazar Delegation Attends the International Conference on Islamic Economics "Values for Impact 2026" in Sarajevo

A delegation from the University of Novi Pazar, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović, participated in the international conference "Values for Impact 2026," held on September 23–24 at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).

The University delegation also included General Manager Prof. Dr. Enver Međedović and Financial Manager Asst. Prof. Dr. Haris Zogić.

The conference convened researchers, university professors, institutional representatives, and industry experts from across the globe. The agenda focused on contemporary issues in Islamic economics and finance, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, FinTech, artificial intelligence, waqf, and economic expansion.

A notable contribution was made by Rector Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović, who chaired the academic session "Islamic Finance for Social Welfare and Economic Resilience," featuring scholarly research on green waqf, zakat, social welfare mechanisms, and real-economy resilience.

Participation in the conference provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, forging new academic networks, and holding discussions with international university and institutional representatives, further solidifying the University of Novi Pazar's collaborative framework in Islamic economics and finance.
