A public lecture and discussion with the Bosnian-Herzegovinian writer Fajko Kadrić was held at the University of Novi Pazar. The event was organized by the Department of Arts and Philological Sciences, specifically the Bosnian Language and Literature program, as part of the "Revolutionary Literature" course.
Kadrić, a multi-award-winning author of novels and short story collections, is particularly well-known for his work "What the Birds Are to Me" (Šta su meni ptice).
During the meeting, students learned about contemporary trends in Bosniak and Bosnian-Herzegovinian literature, with an emphasis on post-war creativity, war traumas, and the culture of remembrance.
Through the discussion, they gained insight into the literary depiction of war experiences and the role of literature in understanding socio-historical processes.
Kadrić emphasized the importance of finding goodness in people even in difficult times, which is the central theme of his creative work.
