It is headed by the Rector, supported by Vice-Rectors and Coordinators responsible for various areas of the university\u2019s operations. Together, they form a team that manages and oversees all aspects of academic life. A distinctive feature of our university is its endowed (waqf) property status, which allows the University of Novi Pazar to have a President whose primary task is to coordinate the work of the He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown. In 2004, he earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Reutlingen in Germany.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">He completed his master\u2019s thesis in banking and finance at the International University of Novi Pazar in 2007, obtaining the title of Master of Economic Sciences.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">In 2009, he completed his doctoral studies at the University of Novi Pazar and received the title of Doctor of Economic Sciences.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">In 2007, he began working as a teaching assistant at the Department of Economic Sciences, where he became a professor in 2009, focusing on management-related courses.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">That same year, he was appointed Head of the Center for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Novi Pazar. In 2014, he was elected as the Rector of the University of Novi Pazar.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">He is the author of more than fifty scientific and professional papers written in Bosnian, Serbian, English, and German, most of which have been published in international journals. Mathematics at the University of Ni\u0161.<\/i>He completed his Master's degree at the <i>Faculty of Technical Sciences at the University of Kragujevac <\/i>with an average grade of 10. He graduated from the <i>Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science in Belgrade<\/i> , specializing in cryptography (PM field), with an average grade of 9.82. He also graduated from the <i>Faculty of Informatics and Information Technology in Novi Pazar<\/i> in the field of computer engineering (TT field), with an average grade of 9.88.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">He has published more than 200 papers, including around 150 in international and national journals, and over 50 papers in prestigious international journals (<i>Web of Sciences)<\/i>.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">His research articles and chapters have been published in journals and monographs from global scientific literature publishers such as<i>: Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, Taylor &amp; Francis, Nature, Cell Press, Wiley, IET, TechScience Press, De Gruyter, MDPI, Hindawi, World Scientific, IGI Global, and IOP Science<\/i>. His works have been cited more than 1,500 times.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">He is a member of the Steering Committee for Mathematics, Computer Science, and Mechanics at the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation (mandate 2021-2026). He is a reviewer for the National Body for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education. He is an international reviewer for the Technology Transfer Program at the Innovation Fund. He is also a foreign expert for the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Higher Education in Montenegro in the field of natural sciences. Prof. Sara\u010devi\u0107 is a member of the Expert Committee for providing expert opinions and reviewing programs in the field of information technology in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is an honorary member of the <i>Neutrosophic Science International Association (NSIA), University of New Mexico, USA<\/i>, and a member of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Sciences and Arts (<i>BHAAAS<\/i>). Additionally, he is a member of the editorial boards of more than 20 international scientific journals. Osnovnu i srednju \u0161kolu zavr\u0161io je u rodnom gradu. Osnovne akademske studije ekonomije zavr\u0161ava na Univerzitetu Reutlingen (Rojtlingen) u Njema\u010dkoj 2004. godine. Magistarski rad iz oblasti bankarstva i finansija zavr\u0161ava na Internacionalnom univerzitetu u Novom Pazaru 2007. god. i sti\u010de zvanje magistra ekonomskih nauka. Doktorske studije zavr\u0161ava 2009. g. na Univerzitetu u Novom Pazaru i dobija zvanje doktor ekonomskih nauka. 2007. godine biva anga\u017eovan kao asistent na Departmanu za ekonomske nauke gdje 2009. godine na grupi predmeta iz menad\u017ementa biva anga\u017eovan kao profesor. 2009. god. imenovan je za rukovodioca Centra za postdiplomske studije na Univerzitetu u Novom Pazaru. 2014. godine izabran je za rektora Univerziteta u Novom Pazaru. Autor je vi\u0161e od pedeset nau\u010dnih i stru\u010dnih radova napisanim na bosanskom, srpskom, engleskom i njema\u010dkom jeziku, objavljenim ve\u0107inom u me\u0111unarodnim \u010dasopisima. Posebno interesovanje istra\u017eivanja su finansije (posebno islamske finansije) i ekonomski razvoj. Uzeo je u\u010de\u0161\u0107e u realizaciji mnogobrojnih istra\u017eiva\u010dkih projekata: Analiza mogu\u0107nosti finansiranja mjesnih zajednica u lokalnim samoupravama Novi Pazar, Tutin i Prijepolje pri Delegaciji EU u Srbiji, Prekograni\u010dni projekat Srbija-Crna Gora: \u201cBolja saradnja za bolju budu\u0107nost\u201d, Delegacija Evropske Unije u Srbiji, Identifikacija resursa kao osnova budu\u0107ih investicija u Jugozapadnoj Srbiji, Konsultant kod izrade razvojne strategije Op\u0161tine Ro\u017eaje, Op\u0161tina Ro\u017eaje. Te\u010dno govori njema\u010dki i engleski jezik. O\u017eenjen je i otac tri djeteta. Zadaci rektora Rektor je prvi \u010dovjek Univerziteta, rukovodilac i organ poslovo\u0111enja Univerziteta. Statuta Univerziteta u Novom Pazaru, rektor ima sljede\u0107e nadle\u017enosti: Zastupa i predstavlja Univerzitet; Organizira i uskla\u0111uje rad i rukovodi radom i poslovanjem Univerziteta; Predsjedava Senatom, te priprema i predla\u017ee dnevni red sjednica Senata; Imenuje i razre\u0161ava rukovodioce departmana uz saglasnost Savjeta; Predla\u017ee Senatu i Savjetu mjere za unaprje\u0111enje rada Univerziteta; Sprovodi odluke Senata i Saveta; Predla\u017ee poslovnu politiku i mjere za njeno sprovo\u0111enje; Brine se za izvr\u0161enje finansijskog plana; Predla\u017ee Senatu finansijski plan Univerziteta; Poduzima sve pravne radnje u ime i za ra\u010dun Univerziteta u vrijednosti do iznosa utvr\u0111enog u Osniva\u010dkom aktu za nabavke male vrijednosti, a u vrijednosti preko toga iznosa &#8211; uz saglasnost Savjeta; Obustavlja od izvr\u0161enja akte rukovodilaca visoko\u0161kolskih jedinica u svom sastavu ukoliko ustanovi da su u suprotnosti sa zakonom, ovim Statutom i osniva\u010dkim aktom; Imenuje i razre\u0161ava rukovodioce visoko\u0161kolskih jedinica u sastavu Univerziteta na predlog odgovaraju\u0107eg organa visoko\u0161kolske jedinice uz saglasnost Savjeta; U\u010destvuje u radu Savjeta bez prava glasa; Obavlja promociju doktora nauka, po\u010dasnih doktora, profesora emeritusa i redovnih profesora; Potpisuje diplome i potpisuje, odnosno ovla\u0161\u0107uje jednog od prorektora da potpisuje dodatak diplomi; Obavlja i druge poslove utvr\u0111ene zakonom, Statutom i drugim op\u0161tim aktima Univerziteta. Rektor je samostalan u obavljanju poslova iz svog djelokruga, a za svoj rad je odgovoran Savjetu. Rije\u010d rektora Osnivanjem Univerziteta u Novom Pazaru u\u010dinjen je historijski iskorak, koji je zauvijek promijenio Novi Pazar, Sand\u017eak, Srbiju, pa i cijelu regiju. 2002. godine hrabri ljudi, vizionari, predvo\u0111eni muftijom Muamerom ef. Zukorli\u0107em, donijeli su odluku za osnivanje jedne institucije, ne radi sticanja materijalnih koristi, niti zbog drugih li\u010dnih koristi, nego su \u017ertvovali svoj novac, svoje vrijeme, svoju energiju da bi ovaj kraj, ova regija imala bolju, svjetliju budu\u0107nost. Osnovan je dom znanosti na jednome prostoru, koji je bio poznat po emigraciji svojih stanovnika, gdje je omladina odlazila u svijet radi sticanja znanja. U jednome vremenu gdje je, na\u017ealost, dominirala netrpeljivost i netolerantnost. U Novome Pazaru iznikla je jedna institucija, koja je uspjela da spoji tradicionalne vrijednosti i savremena nau\u010dna dostignu\u0107a, koja je ponudila na\u0161oj omladini nove perspektive, koja je uspjela da ujedini profesore i studente razli\u010dite nacionalnosti i vjeroispovijesti u cilju usavr\u0161avanja svojih Bogom datih potencijala, talenata, kreativnih ideja, da bi se postigli vrhunski rezultati u teoriji i praksi radi dobrobiti cijele zajednice. Tako da danas imamo situaciju da pojedinci iz razli\u010ditih krajeva dolaze u Novi Pazar radi sticanja znanja. Pozitivna energija osniva\u010da prenijela se i na sve zaposlenike ovog Univerziteta. Mo\u017eemo odgovorno tvrditi, da svi zaposlenici univerziteta nose viziju i misiju osnivanja univerziteta u sebi. Zato smo ubije\u0111eni da \u0107e ova institucija, koja se zasniva na iskrenim temeljima, na iskrenoj namjeri, uvijek opstati i uvijek biti uspje\u0161na. Dobrodo\u0161li na na\u0161 i VA\u0160 Univerzitet u Novom Pazaru! Dosada\u0161nji rektori Akademik muftija Muamer Zukorli\u0107Rektor (2002 &#8211; 2008) Prvi rektor i glavni pokreta\u010d osnivanja Univerziteta u Novom Pazaru bio je akademik Muamer Zukorli\u0107. Njegova vizija osnivanja Univerziteta u Novom Pazaru najbolje opisuje on sljede\u0107im rije\u010dima: \u201cUniverzitet u Novom Pazaru nastao je u Sand\u017eaku, na tlu na kome \u017eive ljudi koje odlikuju kulturne i druge razli\u010ditosti, a spajaju univerzalne vrijednosti i \u017eivotne potrebe. Za napredak i blagostanje jednog dru\u0161tva obrazovanje je nu\u017ena pretpostavka prvog reda. Ovaj Univerzitet nastao je sa ciljem da pomogne i slu\u017ei svim ljudima, a posebno onim koji su ga prepoznali kao baklju prosperiteta i vodilju na putu slobode pojedinca i zajednice u cjelini.
