The University of Novi Pazar Marks 23 Years of Excellence with a Graduation Ceremony

The University of Novi Pazar celebrated 23 years of successful work with a formal academic ceremony that gathered representatives of the academic community, state institutions, the diplomatic corps, religious communities, students, and friends of the University. This was an opportunity to honor past achievements and reaffirm the University’s commitment to knowledge, development, and social responsibility.

The Rector, Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović, addressed the audience on behalf of the host, emphasizing that the University is not only a place for acquiring knowledge but also a space for cultivating values, responsibility, and social engagement. He highlighted that knowledge has true meaning only when used in service of the community and the common good.

Other speakers included:

• Prof. Dr. Dejan Vuk Stanković, Minister of Education of the Republic of Serbia
• Mr. Milorad Veljović, Special Envoy of the President of Serbia
• Mufti Dr. Mevlud ef. Dudić, President of the Islamic Community in Serbia

During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to graduates of undergraduate and master’s programs, marking the culmination of their academic success.
Također, generalni menadžer prof. dr. Enver Međedović je uručio jubilarne nagrade zaposlenima koji su Univerzitetu posvetili više od deset godina rada, a predsjednik savjeta Univerziteta dr. Rešad Plojović je uručio priznanja zlatnim studentima Bačevac Aidi, Ljajić Fatmi, Camić Damiru and Bećirović Muji.

Among the attendees were ambassadors from the UAE, Pakistan, and Palestine, as well as representatives from ministries, local government, and cultural and educational institutions.

The event reaffirmed the University’s role as a vital center of knowledge, dialogue, and cooperation, with a clear vision for the future.
