Student Parliament

The Student Parliament of the University is the body through which students exercise their rights and protect their interests at the University. The Student Parliament operates based on the Statute of the University of Novi Pazar, as well as the Rules and Regulations of the Student Parliament of the University of Novi Pazar.

The members of the University’s Student Parliament are elected by students enrolled in the academic year in which the election takes place. The election of Student Parliament members is held every two years in April through a secret and direct voting process. Each department within the University constitutes a separate electoral unit. The Student Parliament consists of at least four students from each department, depending on the total number of students enrolled in a given department, to ensure adequate representation of students from all departments.

Organizing cultural and sports events, student excursions, visits to museums, fairs, and seminars, participation in student exchange programs, securing various benefits for students (transportation, dining in restaurants, visits to cinemas and theaters, concerts, etc.), and collaborating with other student organizations, associations, and forums both domestically and internationally are just some of the activities of the Student Parliament.
