Session of the University of Novi Pazar Council Held

Successful Work Confirmed and Development Budget Adopted

U rektoratu Univerziteta u Novom Pazaru, 25. 12. 2025. godine, održana je prva sjednica Savjeta u akademskoj 2025/2026. godini, kojom je predsjedavao predsjednik Savjeta, dr. Rešad Plojović. Na sjednici su sumirani rezultati rada, verifikovani novi mandati i usvojeni ključni dokumenti koji garantuju dalji napredak institucije.

The composition of the Council was strengthened with new members, thereby continuing the stable work of this most important governing body. The Report on Operations for the academic year 2024/2025 was adopted, with the assessment that the year was extremely successful in all areas of academic activity. Furthermore, the final account for the previous period was adopted, as well as the budget for 2026, which is primarily aimed at the further development and modernization of the University.

As part of the development strategy, an Innovation Coordinator was appointed, further stimulating the scientific and technological progress of this higher education institution.

The Council members unanimously expressed full support for the University management, led by Rector Professor Dr. Suad Bećirović, for the outstanding results achieved. It was concluded that the University continues on a stable development path, with a clear vision for the future that focuses on the quality of education and the needs of students.

The session concluded in a constructive atmosphere, with a joint message about the importance of preserving the reputation and tradition of the University of Novi Pazar, and with the recitation of the Fatiha in memory of the late academician Mufti Muamer Zukorlić.
