Science and research represent a civilizational step forward, driving progress and overall advancement. Thanks to scientific achievements, new products, materials, energy sources, and technological processes are created—in short, new inventions emerge for the benefit of humanity. Therefore, research holds a strategically significant place in the university’s development plan. The University of Novi Pazar has directed its research efforts in two primary areas:

• • Offering innovative doctoral programs to train high-quality researchers, and
  • Producing high-caliber research to be published in monographs and scientific journals, and presented at conferences. 

The University has placed a special emphasis on fostering an ethical and critical approach to education and on cultivating a positive moral environment within its academic community, setting an example for other universities. Additionally, in developing its strategies, the University gives particular consideration to the fact that it operates in a multi-ethnic and economically underdeveloped region.
