UNP Delegation at the Alpe-Adria Rectors’ Conference in Győr

A delegation from the University of Novi Pazar, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović and the International Cooperation Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ergin Hakić, participated in the annual assembly of the Alpe-Adria Rectors’ Conference held at the University of Győr, Hungary.

The assembly provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and agree on further cooperation among member universities. Several key decisions were adopted to enhance academic collaboration and support for students and researchers:

• Admission of new members – expanding the network and strengthening regional cooperation
• Competitions for the best master's and doctoral theses – encouraging academic excellence
• Financial support for PhD candidates – assisting with dissertation writing and improving research quality
• Participation of PhD students in the international conference in Győr – presenting research and networking with international peers

The University of Novi Pazar, a member of the Conference since 2015, continues to contribute actively to its development. Participation in this event reaffirms UNP’s commitment to internationalization and strengthening its position within the European educational and research landscape.
