A delegation from the University of Novi Pazar, led by Rector Professor Dr. Suad Bećirović, attended the solemn academy of the University of Tuzla, organized to mark 49 years of successful operation and existence of this renowned higher education institution.

The ceremony gathered university rectors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, as well as numerous representatives of academic, cultural, and socio-political life.

In his opening address, the Rector of the University of Tuzla, Professor Dr. Karić, particularly highlighted the recently signed cooperation agreement with the University of Novi Pazar, emphasizing its importance for the development of future joint projects, knowledge exchange, and the strengthening of academic ties between the two institutions.

During the solemn academy, alongside a rich cultural and artistic program, plaques were awarded to top students, new full professors were promoted, and professors were awarded the honorary title of Emeritus.

The presence of the University of Novi Pazar delegation at this significant anniversary further confirms its dedication to strengthening inter-university cooperation, academic excellence, and a shared contribution to the development of higher education in the region.
