Students from the University of Novi Pazar, specifically from the Department of Economic and Computational Sciences, visited the Center for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Education (CRAIE) at the invitation of the Teacher Education Faculty in Belgrade.
Students from the University of Novi Pazar, specifically from the Department of Economic and Computational Sciences, visited the Center for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Education (CRAIE) at the invitation of the Teacher Education Faculty in Belgrade.
During the visit, they familiarized themselves with contemporary concepts of the digital transformation of education and the application of artificial intelligence in teaching.
Particular attention was drawn to the humanoid robot Ema, which communicates with visitors and demonstrates how social robots can be used to support learning and motivate students.
The students also saw other innovative solutions: virtual laboratories, smart boards, augmented and virtual reality applications, and educational robots for developing algorithmic thinking.
The director of the center, Professor Dr. Danimir Mandić, gave a lecture on CRAIE's mission and projects, as well as opportunities for cooperation with educational institutions in Serbia and the region. He particularly emphasized the importance of professional development for teachers and the potential of artificial intelligence to improve the quality of instruction.
