University of Novi Pazar Hosted the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Mr. Sufian Adžali

A formal reception was hosted by the Rector, Professor Dr. Suad Bećirović, who expressed satisfaction with the visit and highlighted the importance of cooperation between the University and international institutions such as the UNHCR. During the meeting, they discussed possibilities for joint activities and projects that would contribute to raising awareness of humanitarian issues and promoting human rights.

In his address, Mr. Adžali presented the work and mission of the UNHCR, emphasizing the key role of the organization in protecting the rights of refugees and displaced persons worldwide. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about the current challenges facing the UNHCR, as well as the ways in which young people can contribute to humanitarian action.

The event took place in a very pleasant and inspiring atmosphere, with great interest from those present, which once again confirms the openness of the University of Novi Pazar to dialogue, education, and international cooperation.
