Posjeta studenata Univerziteta u Novom Pazaru kompaniji Peštan

First-year students of the Business Economics study program had the opportunity to visit one of the most successful domestic companies – Peštan from Aranđelovac, which currently generates over 145 million eurosin revenue, exports to more than 80 countries including the USA and China, and employs around 1,200 workers.

They were welcomed by Dejan Ilić, head of the High Construction department, and Vladan Ignjatović, a sales representative from the same sector. The students first toured the modern B2B showroom, followed by the production facilities covering an area of 45 hectares. They gained insight into the use of the SAP ERP system for inventory and sales management, as well as the work of the quality control laboratory – a key success factor in international markets.

A particularly strong impression was made by the robotized pipe production and the company's commitment to ESG standards – including investments in solar panels with a capacity of 9 MWh, which cover as much as 28% of their electricity needs.

Finally, the students attended a presentation on the development and future plans of the company, experiencing the true culture of hospitality and professionalism in the heart of Šumadija.
